Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Visiting Medical Officer in Respiratory Medicine (Occupational and Environmental Lung Disease) to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital!

The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Respiratory Medicine and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Respiratory Department and Hospital as required. This position will have a focus on Occupational and Environmental Lung Disease (OELD). The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of skilled performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Respiratory Medicine and-or other equivalent specialist recognition. Position is currently available. In addition,



applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from date of application, may be considered.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
