n Are you systems driven and skilled at finding the root cause for technical user errors on an e-commerce platform?n

n Our UK client close to Maitland is seeking someone with a background in e-commerce with strong knowledge of IT and e-commerce terminology to identify, troubleshoot, and write comprehensive reports to escalate findings of issues regarding online orders, platform glitches, and technical customer queries.n
n n
n This position is office-based, and working hours are based on UK time and season.n
n (09:30 – 18:00 SAST / 10:30 – 19:00 SAST)n

n REQUIREMENTSn
n

n
- Matric, or equivalent qualification
n
- Minimum 2 years’ e-commerce order and system administration experience
n
- Proven experience resolving and escalating system discrepancies and issues
n
- Logistics/freight experience, including couriers, warehouses and logistics portals
n
- Excellent written English communication skills
n
- Experience with product and catalogue data
n
- Exceptional attention to detail
n
- Solid understanding of technical and IT terminology
n
- Highly technically minded with excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office,



Google and Meta
n
- AI proficiency
n
- Proactive, solutions-driven approach with strong follow-up skills
n

DUTIESn
n

n
- Manage, amend and cancel orders on the in-house system
n
- Resolve issues relating to consignments, customer information, surcharges and stock
n
- Identify, investigate and report system faults and recurring issues
n
- Escalate technical issues to developers with clear supporting information
n
- Write detailed reports for the Customer Service team
n
- Manage product and catalogue data, including pack sizes, units and variants
n
- Update pricing across multiple storefronts and websites
n
- Publish prepared content across multiple websites
n
- Reconcile warehouse portal data with the in-house system
n
- Ensure online stock and pricing remain accurate
n
