About the Role A Melbourne-based building surveying consultancy is seeking an Assistant or Registered Building Surveyor to join its team. This assessment-focused role covers Class 1 and 10 projects, including new homes, townhouses and associated residential structures.n

Duties

n
- Assess plans and documentation for Class 1 and 10 projects
n
- Review applications against the NCC and Victorian building legislation
n
- Identify compliance issues and request further information
n
- Prepare assessment reports and approval documentation
n
- Liaise with clients, designers, architects and consultants
n




- Manage multiple applications within required timeframes
n
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
n

About You n

n
- Minimum two years’ building surveying experience
n
- Experience assessing Class 1 and 10 residential projects
n
- Building surveying qualification or currently completing relevant studies
n
- Victorian building surveying registration is advantageous but not essential
n
- Solid understanding of the NCC and Victorian building regulations
n
- Confident reading and interpreting architectural plans
n
- Robust written communication and attention to detail
n
- Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
n
- Must currently reside in Melbourne
n
