Hydraulic Engineer
Building Services | Adelaide

Join a collaborative and growing Building Services team delivering high-quality projects across Adelaide and nationally. We are looking for a Hydraulic Engineer with around 3–6 years’ experience to support the delivery of a diverse pipeline of projects across the built environment.

n

This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical capability, gain exposure to complex multidisciplinary projects, and contribute to defence and secure infrastructure work.

The opportunity

n

As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of hydraulic services across a variety of building projects, working closely with experienced engineers and other disciplines.

n

You will play a key role in supporting project delivery while continuing to develop your design and coordination skills.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Assist in the design and documentation of hydraulic services including water, sewer, stormwater and gas systems
n
- Support delivery of projects from concept design through to construction
n
- Prepare technical drawings, reports and specifications
n
- Coordinate with internal disciplines including electrical, mechanical, fire and sustainability
n
- Contribute to project delivery ensuring quality, budget and programme outcomes
n




- Work closely with senior engineers and contribute to team collaboration
n
- Support site inspections and stakeholder coordination where required
n

About you

n

n
- Degree qualified in Engineering (or equivalent relevant qualification)
n
- 3–6 years’ experience within Building Services, ideally in a consulting environment
n
- Understanding of hydraulic design principles and relevant Australian standards
n
- Experience using design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
n
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
n
- Working towards Chartered status (desirable)
n
- Must hold Australian citizenship due to defence-related project requirements
n
