The Opportunity n

Join our Geology function as part of the Technical Services team at Wodgina, delivering the in-field services that keep our mining operations accurate, efficient and well informed. You will play a key role in blast-hole sampling, ore mark-ups and ore spotting, while supporting the validation of grade block data and tracking material movements through the supply chain.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a blend of fieldwork and data, and who wants to build a career in mine geology and grade control. The role will commence on an 8D6x7N7x roster.

Key responsibilities: n

n
- Accurate data analysis for feedback and geology data
n
- Blast Hole Sampling, Crusher sampling and delivery to on-site laboratory
n
- Carry out density testing
n
- Ore spotting to maintain ore hygiene
n
- Stockpile inspection, reconciliations and balance
n
- QAQC review of Laboratory assay, results and data
n




- Communicate and escalatest any variance or deviation to plan to key stakeholders
n

What is required? nn
- Manual C class Australian Driving License.
n
- A safety-first mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
n
- Proficient with Excel, and a willingness to increase your computer skills where required.
n
- Ability to work in both a team environment, as well as confidence work independently
n
- Working knowledge of QAQC practices and data analysis
n
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
n
- Previous exposure to mining open-pit environment is beneficial, but not essential
n
- Experience or strong interest in mine geology, grade control or sampling- highly desirable.

The Wodgina lithium is a world class hard rock lithium asset, located 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes (SC5.5).
