Position Overview n

Welding tasks in the Production Facility on brand new equipment being fitted out.

n

Crack repairs, including correct preparation of damaged areas for welding repairs to be carried out.

n

Welding of high-grade steels (training provided).

n

Reading plans and blue-prints.

n

Assisting others in the workshop when required.

n

Workshop 'All-rounder' assisting others, moving equipment, forklift operation etc. when required.

n

The ability to travel for away jobs from time-to-time.

n

Interact with customers on-site in a confident and skilled manner when required.

Candidate Requirements n

Cert III Heavy Fabrication/Boilermaker/Welder or equivalent.

n

Experience and ability welding high-grade steels highly regarded but not essential.

n

Knowledge and experience conducting crack repairs on machinery booms, highly regarded but not essential.

n

An honest worker with a good work ethic, essential.

n

Happy to help other workshop jobs when required.

n





A helpful attitude and the ability to move from job-to-job.

n

Drivers license, HR highly regarded.

n

The ability and willingness to travel within the state and beyond at times for work.

On Offer n

On offer is an excellent Boilermaker position with a quality Heavy Equipment OEM who'll develop you and look after you in the long-term and pay you well in the short term. On offer are starting rates of $50-$55per hour plus over-time at penalty rates, super and training, PPE. Plenty of opportunity to boost the earning with overtime and some away work.
