This is a rare opportunity to join aleading corporate advisory firm , working directly with some of Australia’s most senior investment banking professionals on complex, high-impact transactions acrosspublic markets, M&A;, capital raisings and IPOs .
n
The role is suited to an Associate who already understands how public markets operate and canhit the ground running . You’ll work closely with an Associate Director and senior advisers on live mandates, delivering rigorous financial analysis, market-driven insights, and hands‑on execution support across listed and private company transactions.

The Role n
n
- You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of corporate advisory engagements, with a strong emphasis onpublic markets knowledge and execution , including:
n
- Delivering high‑quality financial analysis, valuations, and scenario modelling across M&A;, capital raisings, IPOs, and strategic advisory mandates
n
- Analysing public company financials, trading performance, market disclosures, and peer group data to form clear, defensible commercial views
n Conducting detailed market, sector, and company research to support strategic recommendations and origination ideas
n
- Supporting end‑to‑end transaction execution, including due diligence, review of transaction documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
n
- Preparing polished pitch decks, board papers, and client materials that clearly communicate complex ideas and market dynamics
n
- Contributing to business development through market monitoring,
idea generation, and preparation for pitch meetings
n
- Working closely with senior advisers while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and high standards in all client interactions
n
About You nn
- This role suits someone who is technically strong, commercially minded, and comfortable operating around senior stakeholders. You will bring:
n
- 3–5 years’ experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuations, or corporate M&A; law
n
- Clear exposure to public markets , including listed company analysis, capital raisings, IPO processes, or market‑facing advisory work
n
- A solid grounding in M&A; execution and transaction environments
n
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with strong Excel and PowerPoint capability
n
- The ability to quickly synthesise large volumes of financial and market information into transparent, actionable insights
n
- A polished communication style and confidence engaging with senior executives and boards
n
- Experience with FactSet or similar market data platforms (advantageous but not essential)
n
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
n
