As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting, maintaining, and optimising IT infrastructure for clients. You'll work across a variety of environments, troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
n
This role is based at our Brisbane HQ, with the potential to undertake fly in fly out work to provide on-site support and build strong relationships across our project sites.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
- Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
n
- Configure and maintain network devices (LAN, WAN, security systems, and telecom services).
n
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
n
- Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption.
n
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues.
n
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
n
- Ensure regular maintenance and optimisation of customer IT systems.
n
- Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects both remotely and on-site.
n
- Regularly engage with customers to resolve issues and gather business requirements.
n
Key Requirements: nn
- 3+ years of experience in IT professional services as an IT Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer.
n
- Strong experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
n
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support.
n
- Experience with Azure services, including setup, deployment, and troubleshooting.
n
- Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), backup solutions, and security tools (firewalls, antivirus management)
n
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, implement, and proactively engage with customers.
n
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
n
- Microsoft certifications (Azure Fundamentals, MS-365 Certified Associate) or equivalent industry certifications preferred
n
- Must have current right to work in Australia without sponsorship
n
- Successful candidate will be required to undergo background checks and may need to obtain security clearances for certain client sites
