We’re currently seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping others live more independently and thrive in a fun, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Your Role: n
As a Disability Support Worker at Redefine, you’ll play a key role in supporting participants to live their best lives through a variety of daily tasks and community activities.
Social and community support: n
engaging in recreational and social activities such as hikes, gym visits, beach days, community outings, and so much fun!
Personal care: n
assisting with daily routines including showering, dressing, grooming and medication support.
Health and wellbeing monitoring: n
observing and reporting on participants’ progress and wellbeing.
Transport and errands: n
assisting with shopping, groceries, and travel to appointments.
Team contribution: n
attending staff meetings, ongoing training and career development.
What you will need: n
Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
n
Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
n
Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
n
Current and satisfactory Federal Police Check, Yellow Card & Blue Card
n
Current Australian Driver’s Licence
n
Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)
