Inovi has been designing and building commercial, industrial and fit out projects across NSW for more than 20 years. We’re a close-knit team based in Silverwater, and we’re known for accuracy, accountability and long-term client relationships

About the role n

In this full-time role, you will play a key part in our construction operations, preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates across a diverse range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to contribute to a growing company and take ownership of our tendering being involved right from the beginning of the project.

Key responsibilities n

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment requirements

n

Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify all cost components

n

Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information

n

Participate in the bidding and tendering process, ensuring that our proposals are competitive and profitable

n

Continuously research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in material and labour costs

n





Provide support and guidance to the project team throughout the construction process

n

Submit tenders up to $20M

n

Review and analyse subcontractor quotations

n

Contribute to methodology, risk reviews and value engineering

n

Following up tenders, negotiating outcomes and building relationships with clients, consultants and trades

About you n

Extensive experience (3+ years) as an Estimator in the construction industry

n

Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation principles

n

Proficiency in using construction estimating software and spreadsheet applications

n

Strong attention to detail and commercially minded and well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the project team

n

Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field is desired

n

Experience using CostX, Cubit, Bluebeam and similar

n

Sound fit-out, refurbishment and Recent Build industry knowledge working for the Head Contractor

n

Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
