Job Description

About the Role n
Reporting to the Production Team, your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Preparing and processing print-ready artwork files
n
- Using ESKO software and CAD files to impose and position artwork
n
- Ripping files and preparing plates for production
n
- Conducting pre-flight checks and quality assurance on incoming files
n
- Operating and monitoring plate-making equipment
n
- Manual handling of printing plates and preparing them for transport to the press area
n
- Working autonomously within the prepress department
n
- Temp assignment to cover a period of leave
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
- Previous experience in a Prepress Operator , Platemaker ,
or similar printing industry role
n
- Experience with ESKO , Apogee , Amfortis , AGFA/ECO3 systems, or similar prepress software
n
- Strong understanding of artwork preparation, pre-flighting, imposition, and plate production
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
n
- Comfortable with manual handling requirements
n
