Skilled Search Group (PSG) is seeking an experienced Business / Systems Analyst to join a functional focused team supporting business critical systems and digital services within a large organisation in the education sector.

n

This role is ideal for a BA with Asender pay experience who enjoys working closely with people, understanding how the business operates, and turning business needs into practical system and process improvements.

n

n

You will work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape solutions that make a genuine difference to the way teams work.

n

n

n

Previous hands on experience working with Ascender payroll system is a must have

n

Location: Perth inner city suburbs (Can be fully remote)

Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with business users, system teams and delivery teams throughout the change lifecycle.
n
- Work with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, requirements and opportunities for improvement.
n
- Ensure solutions align with business requirements and deliver the intended outcomes.
n




- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
n
- Analyse existing systems, processes, data flows and integrations.
n
- Support system enhancements, implementations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
n

About You

You are a people-focused, practical Business Analyst who is comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, enjoy asking questions, understanding the bigger picture, and getting into the detail when required.

n

n

- Must have previous experience in Asender Pay
n
- Experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n
- A proven ability to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
n
- Experience mapping and improving business processes.
n
- Practical SQL and data-analysis skills.
n
- Experience with system integration, APIs, data flows or enterprise applications.
n
- Experience with testing, UAT and defect management.
n
