We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Estimator with a strong background in Civil Formwork, Reinforcement, and Concrete (FRP) works to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting prospect to work on large-scale civil infrastructure projects, contributing your expertise to deliver accurate and competitive tenders.
Key responsibilities n
Prepare detailed cost estimates for FRP works, including materials, labour, and equipment.
n
Analyse project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop accurate tenders.
n
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
n
Identify risks and opportunities within tender submissions and provide cutting-edge solutions.
n
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry standards.
n
Mentor and guide junior estimators to foster team growth and development.
n
Prepare detailed construction programmes to support estimating and tender submissions.
n
Provide detailed cost breakdowns and support project cost tracking following award.
About you n
Minimum 10 years' experience in civil estimating, including extensive experience estimating Civil Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete (FRP) works.
n
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess tender risk, opportunities, subcontractor pricing and project margins.
n
Proven track record in tendering for large-scale infrastructure projects.
n
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
n
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
n
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
n
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
