Salesforce Developer – Marketing Cloud

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join a growing digital technology environment in Sydney.

n

This is a hands-on development role with a strong focus on delivering scalable Salesforce solutions across the broader CRM ecosystem, with particular emphasis on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

n

The environment includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud, alongside integrations with enterprise platforms and middleware solutions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, develop, test and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and declarative capabilities .
n
- Develop and enhance solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud .
n
- Build and maintain Marketing Cloud solutions using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, AMPscript and SQL .
n
- Develop customer journeys, audience segmentation, personalisation and automated marketing processes.
n
- Work with marketing and business stakeholders to translate campaign and customer engagement requirements into technical solutions.
n
- Develop integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture and middleware technologies .
n
- Support Salesforce data modelling, security, sharing rules, permissions and platform configuration.
n




- Participate in code reviews and contribute to Salesforce development standards and engineering best practices.
n
- Develop automated tests and ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, scalable and performant.
n
- Support Salesforce releases using Salesforce DX, Git and CI/CD pipelines .
n
- Troubleshoot defects, integration issues and platform problems and perform root-cause analysis.
n
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, solution designs and integration specifications.
n
- Work within Agile delivery teams using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira .
n
- Contribute to the ongoing adoption of new Salesforce capabilities, including Data Cloud, Agentforce and Einstein AI , where appropriate.

Skills & Experience nn
- Robust hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
n
- Commercial experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
n
- Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
n
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Flows and declarative development.
n
- Experience developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Salesforce integration patterns.
n
- Understanding of Salesforce data models, security, sharing, governor limits and platform best practices.
n
- Experience with Git-based source control and Salesforce CI/CD/release processes.
n
- Strong debugging, testing and troubleshooting capability.
n
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
n
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
n
