DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Adheres to all standard operating procedures and policies
n
- Responsible for all communications applicable to their assigned area
n
- Assists in merchandising procedures
n
- Responsible for maintaining assigned area
n
- Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers
n
- Receiving Deliveries and management of invoicing/paperwork
n
- Checking off stock to invoice
n
- Stocking Shelves and Displays
n
- Performs store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, cleaning, maintaining stock room
n
- Strong culture of safety at all times including the correct use of carton cutter, ladders & trolleys

- Responsible for cash handling procedures
n
- Responsible for all communications applicable to their assigned area
n
- Assists in merchandising procedures
n
- Responsible for maintaining assigned area
n
- Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers
n
- Receiving Deliveries and management of invoicing/paperwork
n
- Checking off stock to invoice
n
- Stocking Shelves and Displays
n
- Performs store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, cleaning, maintaining stock room
n
- Strong culture of safety at all times including the correct use of carton cutter, ladders & trolleys

n

This position is to be across all operational aspects of the Business. Additional responsibilities will be determined by the Store Manager, as dictated by store needsn
Essential Job Functions
n

n
- Stand entire shift
n
- Frequently operate cash register
n
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 10kg and up to a height of 1.5-3m
n
- Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock
n
- Frequent use of stock trolleys, pallet jacks for the moving of stock
n
- Frequently position self to kneel, bend and stoop, including in stock room and on the sales floor
n




- Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers and staff on telephone and face-to-face in the store. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

n

Qualification And Work Skill Requirements

- Recent relevant work experience
n
- Demonstrated understanding and willingness to provide excellence in customer service
n
- Ability to multi-task
n
- Creative thinking
n
- Cash handling experience including balancing of cash register
n
- Solid numeracy skills

n
