What You'll Be Learning

As a Carpentry Apprentice, you'll gain valuable on-the-job experience while developing the skills required to become a qualified carpenter. Your duties may include:

- Assisting with roof carpentry, wall framing, fix-outs, and general carpentry tasks
- Working across residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Measuring, cutting, and installing timber and other building materials
- Safely operating hand and power tools
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements




- Learning industry best practices from experienced tradespeople

You’ll combine practical workplace experience with formal training to complete your Certificate III in Carpentry, setting you up for a successful future in the construction industry.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A genuine interest in building and construction
- A current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- A Construction White Card
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to completing a four-year apprenticeship
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
