Bank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Assistant Treasury Risk Analyst to join the Sydney Office.

n

This is a Two Year Term Contract, with robust potential to convert to an ongoing role upon successful completion.

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Monitoring Macroeconomicdevelopments and banking industry in Australia and China, and undertaking research projects at country or region wide level
n
- Liaisingwith economic researchers in industry, academia and government agencies
n
- Producinganalytical reports and helping provide insights about the macroeconomic outlook of Australia and China
n
- Monitoringanalyzing and writing reports on banking and finance industry
n
- Monitoringand analyzing key financial market developments, including foreign exchange rates, interest rates, bond yields, money market indicators, and assessing key market drivers
n
- Producing regularand ad hoc commentary and analytical reports on foreign exchange and interest rate market outlooks, scenarios and key risks,



and providing market insights to support management decision-making and financial management activities
n

To be considered, possessing following skills and experience are essential:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree inEconomics, Finance or related
n
- Certified Practicing Accounts (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in Australia is preferred
n
- Minimum3 years Economics Research, risk analysis related experience
n
- Strongeconomic, policy, risk analysis and problem-solving skills
n
- Highlydeveloped influencing and negotiation skills
n
- Provenability to build strong stakeholder relationships with people at all levels and from different backgrounds
n
- Abilityto work flexibly across different teams and projects to deliver outputs, and to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
n
- Goodunderstanding of financial markets, including foreign exchange, money market and interest rate markets
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin
n
