Babylon Data is seeking experienced Functional Automation Test Analysts to support a major government digital transformation program.

n

- Initial contract: 12 months
n
- Extensions: Up to two additional 12-month terms
n
- Expected commencement: 5 October 2026

- Working arrangements: Hybrid
n
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, generally 8 hours per day
n
- Security clearance: Current Baseline security clearance required

The Role n

You will join an established testing practice supporting an inflight digital portal program focused on improving customer experience, streamlining business processes and enabling more efficient regulatory service delivery.

n

You will be expected to quickly understand new systems and business processes, manage testing across multiple concurrent projects and become productive within a short onboarding period.

Your responsibilities will include: n

n
- Analysing business and technical requirements
n
- Designing test strategies, scenarios, cases and supporting test data
n
- Conducting UI, functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing
n
- Testing Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse solutions
n
- Developing and maintaining automated UI regression test suites
n
- Automating API, integration and authentication-flow testing
n
- Integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps build and release pipelinesManaging defects through investigation, documentation, retesting and closure
n
- Maintaining test evidence, traceability, reporting and quality metrics
n
- Supporting end-to-end validation of complex business processes
n
- Working collaboratively with developers, business analysts,



product owners and other delivery specialists
n
- Moving between projects, platforms and testing phases as priorities change
n

Applicants must demonstrate: nn
- Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps or Dataverse
n
- Robust experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing
n
- Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated UI test suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or a comparable framework
n
- API and integration test automation experience using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing or similar tools
n
- Experience testing APIs, backend integrations, authentication flows and Dataverse-based services
n
- Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automatic execution during build and release processes
n
- Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, source control, test management, defect management and reporting
n
- Sound knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices
n
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and contribute effectively within multidisciplinary teams
n
- A current Baseline security clearance
n
- ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification or a comparable qualification
n
- In-depth testing of Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform or Power BI solutions
n
- Testing of server-side or plugin logic, environment variables, secrets, custom APIs or API Management policies
n
- Experience using Jira or similar test and defect management platforms
n
