About our opportunity n
We are looking for an Accountant based in Sydney on a 6 to 12month contract with strong accounting and excel skills.
Key duties and responsibilities n
n
- Assist in the preparation management accounts at both a service line and geographical bases
n
- Bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
n
- Monthly ledger postings
n
- Preparation of Management reports
n
- Develop data analytical insights into customer and sales information
n
- Australian tax compliance including GST, BAS and FBT management
n
- Ledger reconciliations in preparation of new accounting system
n
- Assist in Receivables management including E-billings
n
- Adhoc projects as required by senior management
n

Sound like you so far? You will also possess the following:

Solid understanding of general ledger management and processes
n
Experience with financial software and systems
n
Excellent analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
