As Lead Specialist Support Coordinator, you will hold a direct caseload of complex clients while leading the practice quality of our Support Coordination team. It is a genuinely hands-on leadership position: you will coordinate support for people navigating multiple, intersecting systems, and you will mentor and supervise the coordinators around you to do the same.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate support for participants with complex, cross-sector needs, including system navigation, crisis and risk planning, and NDIS funding and review processes
- Provide supervision, mentoring and induction to Specialist Support Coordinators
- Champion person-centred, values-consistent practice and lift the standard of coordination across the team
- Build the capacity of participants, families and services through education and strong working relationships
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our Specialist Support Coordination program

About you

- A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, social work, community services or a related allied health or social science field, or substantial equivalent sector experience
- At least five years in support coordination or disability program provision, with real depth in supporting people with multiple and complex needs
- Demonstrated leadership, supervision and mentoring experience
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS, NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation

- The interpersonal skill to facilitate difficult conversations and bring disparate parties around common goals
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain), and a Victorian driver's licence with access to a vehicle
