We are looking for a Workplace Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Benalla.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Drive safety culture by working proactively and collaboratively with managers, employees, and contractors.

n

Lead risk identification and risk assessment processes, providing practical advice on implementing high-level control measures.

n

Lead thorough incident and near-miss investigations to uncover root causes, deliver corrective actions, and manage regulatory reporting.

n





Conduct regular safety audits and workplace inspections to maintain strict alignment with internal policies and current WHS legislation.

n

About you

n

Experience working as a WHS advisor or equivalent role in a similar environment (manufacturing)

n

Excellent knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice.

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

n

A relevant qualification will be highly regarded.

n

Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing and National Character Check.
