About the Role Working within a small and collaborative team, you will be responsible for: n

- Accounts Payable
n
- Accounts Receivable
n
- Bank reconciliations
n
- Resident account management
n
- Maintaining accurate financial records
n
- Following-up outstanding accounts
n
- Assisting with finance-related enquiries
n
- Supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the village
n
n
Retirement village accounting is a specialized area that extends beyond standard accounts administration.
The successful applicant will develop an understanding of retirement village operations and legislation, making this a diverse, engaging and rewarding role for an experienced finance professional who enjoys applying their skills in a unique environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have: n
n
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role
n
- Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
n
- Experience performing reconciliations with a high level of accuracy
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A positive, professional approach and willingness to work collaboratively within a small team
n
- Experience with Xero software and Microsoft Office applications
n
