We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a sales operations role, which is the engine room of our business. Working closely with the Sales and Administration teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing and management of vehicle stock, registrations, and documentation from vehicle arrival through to customer delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating registrations and transfers, processing sales documentation and ensuring our vehicle stock information remains accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage new and used vehicle stock from arrival through to delivery
- Process vehicle registrations and transfers through VicRoads in line with compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate registration records and manage number plate inventory
- Process vehicle sales paperwork and documentation
- Complete accurate data entry and maintain vehicle records
- Maintain accurate stock information within the dealership's DMS
- Liaise with internal departments, vehicle manufacturers and other dealerships to ensure the smooth movement and processing of vehicles




- Monitor stock levels and vehicle availability
- Provide timely and accurate reporting
- Ensure all processes and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently

About You

- Previous stock control experience within an automotive dealership
- Experience using a Dealer Management System
- Familiarity with VicRoads registration and transfer processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Robust computer, numerical and analytical skills
- A willingness to learn and follow established processes
