As our Software Engineering Manager, you’ll put our values up in lights by:

- Providing technical leadership and direction, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, architecture standards, security requirements and engineering best practices.
n
- Building a high-performing, accountable and collaborative engineering culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement and team engagement.

- Leading the design, development and delivery of scalable solutions across customer-facing applications, digital services and internal platforms.

- Driving engineering excellence through effective development practices including code reviews, testing, quality assurance and CI/CD.

What we’re looking for a leader who can balance technical excellence, delivery outcomes and people leadership. n
You’ll bring:
n
n
- Experience delivering commercial software solutions using modern frameworks and contemporary software engineering practices.
n
- Proven success leading and developing Software Engineers within a high-performing team environment.
n
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability with experience resolving complex technical challenges.
n
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive application development principles.
n
- Expertise in database design, schema architecture, performance tuning and query optimisation.
n
- Experience designing, building and integrating APIs and distributed services.
n
- A track record of delivering scalable,
secure and maintainable software solutions in complex environments.
n
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with third-party platforms and external services.
n
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and automated deployment frameworks.
n
- Experience supporting or leading platform modernisation, transformation or replatforming initiatives.
n
- Experience leading and working with distributed or remote teams.
n
