We’re looking for a Full-Time Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Morayfield Tavern.

n

Located in Caboolture South, Morayfield Tavern is a busy local venue serving modern pub classics, grill favourites and smoked BBQ across lunch and dinner.

The Role n

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver consistent, quality food during service.

You’ll be responsible for:

n

n
- Overseeing a designated kitchen section such as grill, sauté, larder or fryer
n
- Preparing and cooking menu items to recipe and venue standards
n
- Ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained
n
- Supporting and training Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants
n
- Maintaining high food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
n
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation
n
- Minimising food waste and maintaining portion control
n
- Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth service
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive kitchen throughout service
n





What We’re Looking For nn
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready for the next step
n
- Experience working in a busy pub, bistro or similar commercial kitchen
n
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
n
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy services
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills
n
- Reliable, organised and able to take ownership of your section
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
n
