- Mid-Level DevOps Engineer Overview n

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to help maintain and scale our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Working within the Infrastructure Management team, you will play a key role in improving platform stability, automating processes, and enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently and safely.

This is a hands-on position focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and developer enablement . You will work with modern technologies, solve complex infrastructure challenges, and contribute to building a scalable engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Operations n n

Manage, maintain, and optimise multi-environment cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and uptime.

n
- n

Monitor and support networking components, including routing, firewalls, VPN connections, and cloud connectivity.

n
- n

Implement infrastructure best practices to support scalability, resilience, and security.

n
- n

Identify opportunities to improve cloud efficiency and optimise costs.

n
CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation n n
- n

Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient software delivery.

n
- n

Develop reusable pipeline templates and automation frameworks to support engineering teams.

n
- n

Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

n
- n





Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve pipeline failures quickly.

n

Developer Enablement n n
- n

Partner with engineering teams to embed DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.

n
- n

Create documentation, runbooks, and self-service tools to improve developer productivity.

n
- n

Support teams with infrastructure knowledge, troubleshooting, and best practices.

n

Monitoring & Incident Response n n
- n

Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.

n
- n

Investigate infrastructure issues, respond to incidents, and support timely resolution.

n
- n

Assist with disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity activities.

n

Team Collaboration & Improvement n n
- n

Work collaboratively within the Infrastructure Management team to deliver technical projects.

n
- n

Continuously identify opportunities to automate processes and improve engineering practices.

n
- n

Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

n
- n

Provide after-hours support when required, including scheduled releases and incident response.

n

Required Skills & Experience n n
- n

3 years’ experience working in a DevOps, SysOps,



or CloudOps environment.

n
- n

Strong hands-on experience managing cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP .

n
- n

Practical experience with Kubernetes administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.

n
- n

Strong knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) .

n
- n

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:

- n

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation .

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical industry experience.
