Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Retail Assistant to join the Love Tea team in January 2027

n

You will be an advocate for Love Tea and our products, providing a high level of customer service and work collaboratively with head office and other retail staff to ensure smooth daily running of the store.

n

This role is a part-time position, working from Wednesday to Saturday (22 hrs per week), with a start date of early January 2027

Key Responsibilities: n

- Participate in the daily operations of the Love Tea retail store.
n
- Provide high level customer service (in person, over the phone and online) at all times. Including product knowledge, selling of goods, taking payments of all kinds, gift wrapping and presentation.
n
- Be an advocate for the Love Tea brand and the Love Tea product range.
n
- Ensure the store is well presented at all times – including cleanliness and merchandising.
n
- Support the roll out of marketing campaign, new product launches and visual merchandising.
n
- Follow process for inventory and stock management, including receipt of new orders. Participate in stocktake and loss prevention activities as directed.
n
- Foster a valuable workplace culture within the store and with head office.



Foster good relationships with the local community and surrounding businesses.
n
- Work cohesively with head office, including attending team meetings and events.
n
- Ensure OH&S; requirements of the store are adequate and maintained.
n
- Support management by providing sales information, process improvements, customer feedback and other relevant information.
n
- Have a passion for natural/holistic health, organics and tea (essential)
n
- Completed studies in natural health discipline (desired).
n
- Have relevant experience in a retail or sales role (essential)
n
- Be customer service focused and committed to providing exceptional service.
n
- Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
n
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
n
- Demonstrate commerciality and the ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner
n
- Willingness to assist and support others and foster a healthy team dynamic.
n
- Be able to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
n
- Be comfortable working alone.
n
