This role sits in a growing national Property & Projects team and offers quality exposure across property, development and social infrastructure matters. You can be based in Newcastle full-time, or in Sydney with travel to Newcastle at least one day a week.

About the role

n

You'll advise on a broad range of general property law matters. That includes acquisitions and disposals, options, leases, licences, easements,



restrictive covenants, Crown Land and regulatory matters. The practice also works across:

n

- major tenders
n
- property development projects
n
- social and affordable housing projects
n
- social infrastructure matters
n
- activation and divestment of government land
n
- land due diligence
n
- multi-million-dollar purchases and sales
n
- commercial and retail leasing
n

n

This is a role for a lawyer who wants variety, strong client exposure and room to grow.

What you'll bring

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- 3 to 7 years' post-admission experience in property law
n
- strong experience across general property transactions and advisory work
n
- excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
n
- the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- a commercial, solutions-focused mindset
n
- strong client relationship skills
n
- excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
n
