Showroom Sales Consultant (Premium furniture) n

About the role n

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our team at our Paddington showroom. This is a part-time positionoffering flexibility whilst maintaining the highest standards of service. As a Sales Consultant, you will be the face of Totem Road, engaging with customers in our premium showroom environment and guiding them through their furniture purchasing journey. You will play a vital role in driving sales whilst building lasting relationships with our clientele and representing our brand values of quality and expertise.

Key responsibilities n

- Greet and welcome customers with professionalism and warmth, creating an inviting showroom atmosphere
n
- Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations tailored to individual customer needs, preferences, and budgets
n
- Conduct consultative sales conversations that understand customer requirements and showcase how our furniture solutions meet their needs
n
- Demonstrate furniture pieces effectively, highlighting design features, craftsmanship, materials, and durability
n
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
n
- Manage customer inquiries, including delivery options, customisation possibilities, and after-sales support
n
- Build and maintain a strong customer database,



following up on enquiries and nurturing repeat business

- Maintain showroom presentation standards, including product displays, cleanliness, and visual merchandising
n
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive working environment
n
- Stay updated on product ranges, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information
n

What we're looking for nn
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the furniture, home décor, or premium goods sector
n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer types
n
- Strong sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

- Reliable and committed, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
n
- Product knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for furniture, design, and home furnishings
n
- Professional presentation and the ability to represent a premium brand with confidence
n
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns with tact and professionalism
n
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work part-time hours including weekends as required
n
- Proficiency with retail systems and technology, with a willingness to learn new platforms
n
- Organisational skills and attention to detail in managing customer information and transactions
n
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations
