TRS Resourcing is seeking Trade-Qualified Mobile Plant Mechanics / Heavy Diesel Mechanics for permanent opportunities based in Forrestfield, WA .

n

We have opportunities available for mechanics who prefer a workshop-based position , as well as experienced technicians looking to get out in the field carrying out servicing, diagnostics and breakdown repairs.

n

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established heavy equipment business that operates across a diverse range of construction, earthmoving, quarrying, and crushing equipment .

The Role n

Depending on your experience and preference, you will be working in either the workshop or field service team, carrying out maintenance and repairs across a broad range of mobile plant.

Your Responsibilities Will Include n

n
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs of mobile plant and heavy equipment
n
- Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
n
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
n
- Major component repairs and replacement
n
- Engine, transmission and hydraulic repairs
n
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns
n
- Workshop-based repairs and machine inspections
n
- Field service and customer site breakdown support
n
- Completing service reports and relevant documentation
n
- Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship
n

Equipment n

You will have exposure to a varied fleet of equipment, including:

n

- Excavators
n
- Wheel loaders
n
- Dozers
n
- Graders
n




- Rollers and compaction equipment
n
- Dump trucks
n
- Crushers and screens
n
- Skid steers and other construction equipment
n

About You n

To Be Successful, You Will Ideally Have

n

n
- Australian-recognised trade qualification in Mobile Plant / Heavy Diesel
n
- Previous experience servicing and repairing earthmoving, construction or mining equipment n

Experience with brands such as Hyundai, CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, Ammann or similar heavy equipment will be highly regarded.
