HR Driver – Regional Victoria & Metropolitan Melbourne n

Josies Transport Group is seeking an experienced and reliable HR Driver to join our growing transport operation, servicing Regional Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne .

Based from our Lara depot , this role offers a mix of metropolitan and regional driving, delivering general freight to a broad range of customers across Victoria.

n

About the Role n

As an HR Driver with Josies Transport, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient pickup and delivery of general freight throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Metropolitan and regional pickup and delivery work
n
- Operating HR rigid vehicles, including tailgate-equipped vehicles
n
- Loading and unloading general freight
n
- Completing multiple deliveries and pickups throughout the day
n
- Ensuring freight is appropriately restrained and transported safely
n
- Completing PODs and required delivery documentation
n
- Communicating with our Operations and Customer Service teams throughout the day
n
- Maintaining a professional standard when dealing with customers
n
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any safety or maintenance concerns
n




- Working in accordance with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and company safety requirements
n

What We're Looking For n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- A current HR Driver Licence
n
- Previous experience in general freight, transport or multi-drop delivery
n
- A robust understanding of load restraint and safe freight handling
n
- Good knowledge of Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria
n
- A professional and reliable approach to work
n
- Good communication skills
n
- The ability to work independently while remaining part of a larger operational team
n
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance
n
- Forklift licence highly regarded
n
- Dangerous Goods experience/licence advantageous but not essential
n

n

Experience with tailgate deliveries, palletised freight and regional runs will be highly regarded.
