The Opportunity n

Reporting to a senior operational leader, this role holds overall responsibility for the leadership, management and performance of our client’s operation. Combining strategic oversight with visible, hands-on leadership, you will coordinate people, livestock, land, infrastructure and resources to deliver safe, effective and sustainable operational outcomes.

- Develop and deliver annual operating plans, budgets and seasonal work programs across the property.

- Lead the day-to-day management of production across the property.
n
- Oversee herd health, nutrition, genetic improvement, livestock records and animal welfare standards
n
- Plan rotational grazing, feed budgets, pasture improvement, fodder production and sustainable land management activities
n
- Coordinate farm leaders,



permanent and seasonal employees, contractors, veterinarians, agronomists and reproduction specialists
n
- Ensure fencing, water systems, yards, laneways, buildings and other infrastructure remain safe and fit for purpose
n
- Maintain compliance across workplace health and safety, biosecurity, environmental and regulatory requirements
n
- Monitor performance, costs and operational risk, provide regular reporting and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency

The Person n

You will be an experienced livestock or mixed-farming manager with the judgement, practical capability and leadership presence to oversee a large-scale operation.

Equally important will be your ability to lead and develop people, coordinate specialist advisers and contractors, manage competing priorities and build a positive, accountable and safety-focused culture. You will bring sound budgeting, reporting and problem-solving skills, and a practical continuous-improvement mindset.
