Job Description

About This Role
This is a senior site based position responsible for the engineering and delivery of key civil construction packages across a significant road infrastructure project. You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team, taking ownership of planning, technical delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality, programme and project controls.

- Manage the engineering and delivery of major civil construction packages.
n
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and construction activities.
n
- Manage project programming, planning, sequencing and daily site delivery.
n
- Oversee technical documentation, ITPs, quality assurance and project records.
n
- Work closely with the Project Manager on costs, variations, forecasting and project controls.
n
- Review designs, specifications and construction methodologies and resolve technical issues.
n
- Coordinate survey, design, procurement and construction requirements.
n
- Monitor progress against programme and drive timely completion of works.
n
- Maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and project stakeholders.

Requirements
n

n
- 7+ years experience within civil infrastructure, road construction or major earthworks projects.
n
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
n
- Strong experience managing civil construction packages from planning through to delivery.
n
- Proven experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site based construction teams.
n
- Strong understanding of project controls, programming, quality and commercial management.
n
- TfNSW road project experience would be highly regarded.
n
- Experience on major road, earthworks or transport infrastructure projects.
n
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Austalian Permanant Resident
