Specific Solutions is a Hunter Valley-based company providing specialist electrical, mechanical, maintenance and project services to the mining industry across NSW.

n

We are currently seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians / Electrical Maintainers to join our team and work at our client’s mining operation in Cobar, NSW, on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster.

n

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced electrician looking for long-term, full time employment , a consistent 7/7 roster and the chance to work with a growing local company that genuinely values its people.

The Opportunity n

As a High Voltage Electrician, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and equipment across the mining operation.

n

The role will involve a combination of planned and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, preventative maintenance and High Voltage switching and maintenance.

n

You will work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure electrical equipment and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard and site requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities n

- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and reliability

- Planned and breakdown electrical maintenance

- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs

- Preventative and scheduled maintenance

- Electrical inspections and testing
n

What We're Looking For nn
- Electrical Trade Qualification
n
- Electrical Supervisors Licence
n
- High Voltage switching experience and/or relevant HV switching competencies preferred, but not essential
n
- Previous mining experience, preferably underground mining
n
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Reliable, professional and positive attitude
n
