The Role
n Are you passionate about helping adults gain confidence in the water? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Learn to Swim Instructor to join our Aquatics Team on a casual basis. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality swimming lessons designed specifically for adults of all abilities from beginners to those looking to refine their technique in accordance with AUSTSWIM industry standards.

Key Responsibilities n
n
- Deliver engaging, progressive, and supportive adult swimming lessons.
n
- Create an inclusive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and skill development.
n
- Communicate effectively with participants, understanding diverse needs, backgrounds, and learning styles.
n
- Maintain a strong focus on safety,
professionalism, and class organisation.
n
- Uphold Work Health & Safety (WH&S;) standards within the aquatic workplace.
n
- Work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required.
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
n

- A current AUSTSWIM Licence
n
- A valid Working with Children Check.
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
n
- Prior experience teaching adult swimming programs (highly regarded).
n
- A positive, patient, and motivational teaching style.
n
