Early Childhood Education & Care Trainer and Assessor (Contractor) n

Rosehill College (RTO 41257 | CRICOS 03622A) is a registered training organisation based in Ultimo, Sydney. We deliver nationally recognised vocational education and training to domestic and international students.

The Role n

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education and Care Trainer and Assessor to join our team as a contractor. The role involves face-to-face teaching in Ultimo and workplace visits across Sydney to support and assess students.

- CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
n

Key Responsibilities nn
- Deliver engaging face-to-face workshops and tutorials
n
- Conduct workplace visits to support and assess students
n
- Provide coaching, mentoring and current industry guidance
n
- Assess learner competency in line with training package and RTO requirements
n
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records
n
- Participate in moderation and validation activities as required
n
- Build strong professional relationships with students and childcare services
n




- A relevant Early Childhood Education and Care qualification at Diploma level or higher
n
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an accepted equivalent
n
- Recent and relevant industry experience in early childhood education and care
n
- Strong communication, facilitation and student-support skills
n
- Sound knowledge of competency-based training and assessment
n
- Current Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one before commencing
n
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel for workplace visits
n
- Ability to work on-site in Ultimo and attend childcare workplaces across Sydney
n
- Previous experience delivering and assessing CHC30121 and/or CHC50121 within an RTO
n
- Familiarity with aXcelerate or a similar student management system
n
- Experience coordinating or conducting early childhood workplace assessments
n
