Morson Edge is currently looking for an experienced Leading Hand Formwork Carpenter to join an established formwork contractor on a live high‑rise project in South Brisbane .

This is an immediate start for a strong Formwork Carpenter who can assist the Foreman with the day‑to‑day running of the site, direct a crew and remain hands‑on with formwork when required.

The Role

- Assist the Foreman with day‑to‑day site operations
n
n
- Lead and direct a crew of formwork carpenters
n
n
- Read and interpret structural drawings
n
n
- Set out and construct formwork for high‑rise concrete structures
n
n
- Complete hands‑on formwork carpentry when required
n
n
- Coordinate with steel fixers, concreters and other site trades
n
n
- Keep the crew productive and work progressing to programme
n
n
- No jump forms or screens involved
n
n

- Proven experience as a Leading Hand Formwork Carpenter
n

- Strong commercial/high‑rise formwork experience
n
n
- Solid understanding of formwork systems and structural concrete
n
n
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
n
n
- Confident directing and managing a formwork crew
n
n
- Quick stair systems experience essential
n
n
- Construction White Card
n
n
- Own tools and reliable transport
n
n
- Available to start ASAP
n
n
