Reporting to the Production Manager, you will fabricate signage components and structures from mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum — working from shop drawings through to a finished product ready for paint, powder coat and installation.

Key responsibilities

Fabricate sign frames, lightboxes, pylon structures, brackets and mounting hardware

MIG and TIG weld aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel to a high finish standard

Read and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, specifications and cut lists

Measure, mark out, cut, fold, drill, grind and lines to tolerance

Assemble and trial-fit structures, including housings for illuminated and LED components

Prepare completed work for surface finishing and dispatch

Carry out quality checks against specification before sign-off

Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area and comply with all WHS requirements

About you

Proven MIG and TIG welding ability, particularly on aluminum





Confident reading and working directly from technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and pride in finish quality — signage is a visual product and welds are often seen

Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a small team

Full working rights in Australia

Previous experience in signage, sheet metal or architectural metal fabrication

Forklift license, EWP (yellow card) and/or Construction Induction (White) Card

Exposure to CNC routing, folding equipment or powder coat preparation
