A local government organisation based in Narre Warren is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join their People & Culture team on a contract through to January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a busy and collaborative team while supporting end-to-end recruitment across a diverse workforce.
Key responsibilities include: n

- Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop meaningful recruitment briefs
n
- Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities across a broad range of positions
n
- Managing recruitment workflows through PageUp and supporting the offer process
n
- Providing exceptional customer-focused service to candidates and stakeholders
n
- Supporting onboarding and recruitment-related activities in partnership with HR, Payroll and Injury Management teams
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience
n
- Maintaining compliance with recruitment policies, procedures and relevant legislation
n
- Supporting talent pooling and workforce planning initiatives where required
n
- Ensuring accurate records management, background checks and recruitment administration
n
About You nn
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or human resources
n
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes in a busy environment
n
- Robust stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
n
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, ideally PageUp
n
- Knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and employment legislation
n
- The ability to balance compliance requirements with a positive customer experience
n
- A continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
n
Highly Regarded nn
- Previous experience within local government or another regulated environment
n
- Exposure to talent pooling initiatives
n
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
n
