We are currently seeking a motivated andreliable Tractor Spray Operator to join our Maintenance Team at ourBerry Farm in Dunorlan, Tasmania .

About theRole n

This is a fantastic chance to developyour skills in a supportive agricultural environment.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Safely operating tractors and spray units for the accurateapplication of approved sprays to berry crops
n
- Operating slashing and mulching equipment
n
- Conducting routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance
n
- Preparing spray mixtures, including insecticides, fungicides, andherbicides, in accordance with procedures
n
- Wearing and maintaining appropriate Personal Protective Equipment(PPE)
n
- Cleaning and washing down machinery to required standards
n
- Maintaining accurate spray records, equipment logs, and stocktakedocumentation
n
- Assisting with the calibration of equipment and machinery
n
- Working flexible shifts, including day and night shift operations as required
n

n

Work is available on a casual basis and isdependent on seasonal demands and weather conditions.

n

All employees willreceive full training relevant to their role and duties. In some cases, a WorkHealth and Safety (WHS)



assessment may also be required to ensure employees cansafely perform the duties of the role.

About You n

To be successful in this role, you willideally have:

n

n
- A current driver's licence
n
- Agricultural experience (advantageous but not essential)
n
- Experience operating machinery
n
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills
n
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
n
- The ability to work effectively within a team
n
- A willingness to learn new skills
n
- Basic written and spoken English skills
n
- Basic computer and digital technology skills
n
- Good planning and time management abilities
n
- A reliable, punctual, and positive work ethic
n

Please note that some duties may involvephysical work, including standing, walking, repetitive movements, lifting, andworking in varying weather conditions.
