Disability Support Worker (Complex Care) n

About the Role n
We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide complex in-home support to participants based in Queensland .
n
This role offers a consistent daytime schedule , providing stability for both the participant and the support worker. The position involves working in a family-home environment and supporting participants with high physical and clinical support needs.
n
This role is best suited to a calm, reliable, and confident support worker with strong clinical experience and a client-centred approach.
Qualifications & Experience n
n
- n
Minimum Certificate III or IV / Diploma in Disability or other relevant qualification
n
- n
At least 3 years’ experience in a disability support role
n
- n
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
- n
NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- n
NDIS Orientation Certificate
n
- n
Working with Children Check
n
- n
Current Police Check
n
- n
Driver’s Licence and reliable car with insurance
n
Tasks & Responsibilities nn
- n
Personal care, including showering and hygiene support
n
- n
Medication support
n
- n
PEG feeding and meal assistance (very soft/moist foods)
n
- n
Oral and nasal suctioning (experience required)
n
- n
Mobility assistance with strong awareness of falls risk
n
- n
Domestic tasks and meal preparation
n
- n
Community access and transport
n
- n
Companionship and emotional support
n
- n
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
n
- n
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
n
- n
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
n

Commitment to providing a client-focused, consistent, coordinated, and flexible service

Demonstrated understanding of the challenges associated with living with disability across different life stages
