We’re seeking a dedicated Essential Safety Measures (ESM) Auditor to join our growing team.

n

Preferred Experience n

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Essential Safety Measures auditing or building compliance are preferred.

Required Qualifications (or equivalent) n

n
- Diploma of Building Surveying (minimum)
n
- Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying
n

n

As an ESM Auditor, you will assess a wide range of building types—including warehouses, offices, retail spaces, schools, and large industrial facilities.

Inspections will include: n

n
- Annual Audits (AESMR)
n
- Exit Door and Paths of Travel inspections
n
- Passive Fire Rating Audits and Reports
n

Your responsibilities will include: nn
- Identifying non‑compliances with the BCA and relevant Australian Standards
n
- Preparing clear, detailed audit reports using our asset management software, Uptick
n
- Liaising with clients in a professional and supportive manner
n
- Providing technical advice to assist clients
n

our bookings department schedules all of your allocated tasks more then a month in advance—allowing you to stay focused on delivering quality audits while still being part of a well‑coordinated team.

- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and reliable

- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset

- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
n
- Solid understanding of the NCC, BCA, and relevant Australian Standards
n
- Hold a valid Victorian driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
n
- Willing to obtain (or already hold) a Working With Children Check and Police Check
n
- Willing and able to travel across metro Melbourne and regional Victoria (including occasional overnight stays) - no interstate travel required.
n
- Australian citizenship is required
n
