About The Role n
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play an important role in leading your room and creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive.
n
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader for our Nursery Room, catering for children from 6 weeks of age. The successful candidate must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the early childhood sector.
You Will Be Responsible For n
n
- Leading and supporting a team of educators within the Nursery Room
n
- Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families and your team
n
- Planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences
n
- Supporting children's development, wellbeing and individual learning needs
n
- Maintaining a high standard of health, safety and compliance
n
- Mentoring and supporting educators to grow their skills and confidence
n
- Working collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to ensure consistent, high-quality practices
n
- Creating an environment that reflects the interests, strengths and needs of the children in your care
n
About You We are looking for someone who is: nn
- Diploma-qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in the early childhood sector
n
- Experienced in a Room Leader or senior educator position
n
- Passionate about working with children aged 0–1 year
n
- Confident leading and mentoring a team
n
- Warm, nurturing and committed to building meaningful relationships
n
- Organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education
n
- Committed to continuous improvement and creating positive outcomes for children
n
