The City of Canada Bay Council’s Children’s Services for passionate Relief Early Childhood Educators to join our teams at Wellbank Children’s Centre (Concord) and Victoria Avenue Children’s Centre (Concord West).

n

As a Relief Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs for children aged 0-5 years. You will support each child’s learning and development through ongoing observation and assessment, while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes wellbeing and positive relationships.

Casual staff are engaged to maintain required child-to-staff ratios and meet regulatory requirements during periods of permanent staff leave. While we aim to provide as much notice as possible for available shifts, short-notice availability may occasionally be required to cover unforeseen absences.

Desired Candidate Profile

n

The successful applicant will have:

n

n
- An ACECQA approved Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- Required Child protection certificates, including "Foundations of Child Safety Training"
n
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
n
- Child protection qualifications, and a firm understanding of child secure legislation and procedures
n




- A valid Working with Children Check
n
- A National Police Check (current or willing to obtain)
n

We offer a salary rate of $43 to $50 per hour, plus 25% casual loading and superannuation.
