Our client is an established specialist family law practice with a reputation for practical, positive outcomes for people going through some of the hardest periods of their lives. They are looking for a Family Lawyer with 7+ years' PAE who wants to run their own matters in a team that backs them.

About the role:

You will work across a broad range of family law matters,



building on the experience you already have while sharpening your advocacy and client management.

- Parenting and children's matters
- Property and financial settlements, including complex ones
- Separation, divorce and de facto relationship matters
- Spousal maintenance and child support
- Domestic and family violence matters
- Mediation, negotiation and dispute resolution
- Strategic advice to clients
- Drafting, file management and court preparation

You will be trusted to run your own matters, with experienced colleagues there when you need them.

What you'll bring:

- 7+ years' PAE in family law in private practice
- Strong experience across both parenting and property matters
- Excellent client communication and relationship building
- Strong drafting and file management
- Confidence running matters independently
- Sound judgement and attention to detail
- An empathetic, practical, solutions-focused approach
- Current Queensland admission and practising certificate
