Austek Roads are currently seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer to fulfil a full time position in the road construction industry based out of Arundle, Gold Coast.

Austek Roads are a fast-growing asphalt and road maintenance company, servicing southeast Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and ACT. Austek Roads completes asphalt and sealing works for a number of city councils and major civil construction companies.

About the Role

n

Austek Roads requires the skills of an Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer , for accounts payable, receivable, some aspects of accounting function and administration duties. This includes assisting the finance team to ensure financial functions, compliance and reporting are complete and accurate in a timely manner. Also, assisting management team in maintaining all the company’s asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

Processing high volume of customer and supplier invoices in a timely manner

n
- n

Reviewing invoices for accuracy and proper coding

n
- n

Identify and resolve billing errors or discrepancies

n
- n

Maintain credit applications

n
- n





Maintain supplier and customer database

n
- n

Bank and Credit Card reconciliations

n
- n

Monitor outstanding payments and contacting customers to request payment

n
- n

Process and reconcile Intercompany Invoices

n
- Reconciliation of supplier statements for end of month
n
- n

Reconciliation of supplier payments for end of month

n
- n

Verify and check all invoices are docket matched and authorised by management

n
- n

Maintain all company’s plant and equipment register through MEX, TFO and excel spreadsheet

n
- MEX Employee setup, data entry and equipment initial setup
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- MYOB Experience Required
n
- n

Previous experience in similar role.

n
- n

Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.

n
- n

Excellent customer services skills.

n
- n

Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

n
- n

Basic business administration principals.

n
- Must currently reside in Australia.
n
