Are you a practical, site-focused engineer who enjoys working on diverse projects and solving problems in the field? We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing Civil team in Brisbane, supporting a range of specialist infrastructure and structural projects across Queensland and interstate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on role, has strong stakeholder communication skills, and is comfortable taking ownership of smaller projects while contributing to larger project teams.

About The Role n

Reporting to the Project Management team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a variety of specialist civil and structural works. The role offers a combination of site-based and office-based responsibilities and will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Projects Typically Involve n

n
- Post-tensioning works
n
- Grouting operations
n
- Jacking activities
n
- Temporary works solutions
n
- Specialist civil and structural maintenance projects
n

n

You will manage smaller projects independently while providing support on larger, more complex projects as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Plan, coordinate and deliver small-scale projects from start to finish
n
- Liaise with clients, site personnel and subcontractors
n
- Assist with project programming, scheduling and reporting
n
- Coordinate labour, equipment and materials
n
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
n
- Participate in site inspections and quality activities
n
- Maintain project documentation and project controls




n
- Support larger projects as directed by senior project staff
n

About You nn
- Approximately 4+ years' experience within civil, structural or construction environments
n
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical industry experience
n
- Strong practical site knowledge and problem-solving abilities
n
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and working directly with clients
n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
- Robust computer and project administration skills
n
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of project outcomes
n
- Willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required
n

Highly Regarded nn
- Working at Heights certification
n
- EWP licence
n
- High Risk Work Licences
n
- Exposure to post-tensioning, remediation, bridge, structural or specialist civil works
n

Location & Travel n

This position is based in Brisbane, QLD , with regular regional Queensland travel and occasional interstate work depending on project requirements. Candidates currently based in Queensland will be highly regarded.
