The Role n
Important: This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Only applicants with unrestricted working rights in Australia will be considered.

We are currently seeking:
n
n
- Disability Support Workers (Community Access)
n
- Disability Support Workers (Supported Independent Living – SIL)
n
Role Overview nn
- Community Access Support Workers support participants to engage in the community, build social connections, and achieve personal goals.
n
- SIL Support Workers provide day-to-day assistance within Supported Independent Living homes, including personal care, routines, and skill development.
n
n
All roles operate within a person-centred framework, working under structured care plans and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Supporting participants with daily routines, including personal care, meals, supervision, and social support
n
- Assisting participants to build independence and develop life skills
n
- Supporting community participation and activities aligned with participant goals
n
- Completing accurate shift notes, progress reports, and incident reports
n
- Communicating effectively with participants, families, and team members
n
What We Are Looking For n
We are seeking individuals who are:
n
n
- Experienced in supporting people with disability
n
- Passionate about making a meaningful difference
n
- Strong communicators and team players
n
- Calm, patient, and adaptable in challenging situations
n
- Organised, with strong attention to detail
n
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
n
Experience n
You must have experience supporting individuals with:
n
n
- Physical disabilities
n
- Intellectual disabilities
n
- Mental health or psychosocial disabilities
n
- Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
n
n
Experience working with restrictive practices and complex behaviours will be highly regarded.
n
You must also be willing to assist with personal care.
Essential Requirements n
You must have, or be willing to obtain:
n
n
- Working With Children Check
n
- National Police Check
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
n
nn
- Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
n
Desirable (Highly Regarded) nn
- Experience supporting complex needs or challenging behaviours
n
- Experience supporting participants with mental health conditions
n
- Understanding of behaviour support frameworks
n
- Robust communication and organisational capability
n
- Ability to adapt to changing participant needs
n
