Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing construction team, advising clients across a broad range of sectors and businesses.

This is a highly autonomous role suited to a lawyer who enjoys operating as a trusted senior adviser. You willunderstand the clients commercial objectives and provide practical, solutions-focused construction advice.The role will have a strong front-end construction focus, with an emphasis on contracting and commercial advice.

Our client is open to flexible and remote work, lawyers can be based in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Newcastle and Perth.

Requirements n

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- 8+ years' post-admission experience, gained in private practice, in-house or a combination of both;
n
- Strong front-end construction experience, with a particular passion for drafting and negotiating contracts;
n
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to independently lead matters and influence stakeholders;
n
- A willingness to mentor colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment;
n
- An entrepreneurial and innovative mindset;
n
- Australian admission, a current or eligible practising certificate and full Australian working rights.
