Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort is looking for an experienced management couple with complementary skills to join its senior management team.

n

Ideally, you will already have experience in resort management, caravan parks, holiday parks, accommodation operations or a similar environment , and understand the variety, pace and hands-on nature of running a guest-focused property.

n

For one of you, we’re particularly interested in a background across building, construction, project management, facilities or maintenance .

n

For the other, we’re looking for strong administration, customer service, reception, reservations and front-of-house capability .

n

You don’t need to come from the same career background. In fact, the combination of your individual strengths is exactly what we’re looking for.

The roles n

One partner will take the lead across the resort’s physical operation, including:

n

- Building, maintenance and improvement projects
n
- Contractors, trades and suppliers
n
- Preventative maintenance and facilities
n
- Project planning, priorities and budgets
n
- Leading and coordinating maintenance activity
n

n

The other partner will focus more broadly on resort operations, including:

n

n
- Reception, reservations and guest service
n
- Administration and office coordination
n
- Staff and housekeeping support
n




- Customer enquiries and issue resolution
n
- WHS, training and compliance administration
n
- Supporting group and conference operations
n

What we’re looking for n

Between you, we’d ideally like to see:

n

n
- Previous resort, caravan park, holiday park or similar accommodation management experience
n
- Building, construction, facilities or project-management capability
n
- Robust administration and customer-service skills
n
- Experience leading people
n
- Confidence managing contractors and suppliers
n
- Good organisation, judgement and communication
n
- A practical, hands-on approach to running a busy operation
n

Candidates from closely related hospitality, property or facilities environments will also be considered where the skills transfer strongly.

What’s in it for you? n

The combined salary is approximately $158,000 plus superannuation , with flexibility depending on experience.
